Questions Jesus Asked Us

Oftentimes, we’re the ones asking questions of God. Do you really forgive me for this? Why would you let that happen? What am I supposed to do now?

But it turns out, Jesus has a few questions for each of us, too.

Jesus didn’t ask questions because he needed the answers. He asked questions that invited people to look more deeply at themselves, their faith, and the lives they were living.

Faces of Our Faith

We’ll explored the bold and untold stories of scripture in a new worship series called Faces of Faith. Together, we spent time with some of the overlooked, complicated, courageous, and deeply human people woven throughout the biblical story, from midwives who resisted oppression to unlikely witnesses of resurrection.

Hope for Cynics

Let's be honest. Cynicism makes a lot of sense right now. The world gives us plenty of reasons for it. But social scientists have discovered something unsettling: cynicism, however earned, usually misses the mark of truth. This five-week series puts that research in conversation with some of the Bible's most honest stories about doubt, disappointment, and what happens when hope shows up anyway. Skeptics especially welcome.

Tell Me Something Good

We explored some of Jesus’ core teachings and asking why they are truly good news, even when they challenge us. Together, we reflected on what makes this news genuinely good: good enough to bring hope in uncertain times, good enough to shape the way we live each day, and good enough to meet us with grace while calling us toward love, mercy, and faithful living.

ABOUT US

We worship every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Our vision is to experience God, to exalt God, and to extend God to others.

We want to know and love God, acknowledging and honoring God’s rightful place at the center of our lives, and we want to share the difference God makes in our lives with those who don’t know Him.
