Super Excited!

Dear Evergreen family,

I am very excited about this coming Sunday. Very, very excited. Super very excited. Very super very excited. Yes, we have been worshipping outdoors at 9:00 a.m. since June (and will continue to do so). Yes, we will have a multitude of safety precautions in place that will make indoor worship feel different. Still, the thought of this coming Sunday is exhilarating.

For the first time since March, Evergreen will worship in its very own worship center. This is home. For the outside observer, it’s just a colorful window and a cross and a high ceiling and a carpet. For you and I, it’s home. We know what home is. You can’t quantify home. You can’t really describe it at all. You just know home when you’re there. This Sunday, we will be there.

This Sunday, we will worship outdoors at 9:00 a.m. We will then worship indoors at 10:00 a.m. If you are just not ready to come to the 10:00 a.m. indoor service, consider trying the outdoor service at 9:00 a.m. Many people have commented that the outdoor service feels very safe. Of course, we have also worked hard to maximize safety at the indoor 10AM service. In fact, click here to see how to fully prepare yourself for the 10:00 a.m. service.

So, did I mention that I am super excited about this coming Sunday? No, I didn’t actually. I mentioned “very excited,” “very very excited,” “super very excited,” and “very super very excited.” However, I am also, yes, super excited. I hope you are, too!

May God bless us all.

Your Fellow Minister in Christ,

Mark

Dear Pastor Mark, I was so looking forward to attending today's service, but was called to stay with my Auntie for the weekend. I am in Springfield and have been unable to find the recording of today's service on Facebook. Anyway, just wanted you to know that I really wanted to be there.
