Dear Evergreen Family:
Due to the COVID pandemic, there are many things we can’t do at Evergreen these days. I miss that, and I know you do, too. At the same time, there’s an amazing amount that is happening each week. In fact, I want to tell you about two great opportunities this week.

Tonight (and next Wednesday; feel free to attend one or both), I’ll be leading us in a Bible study based on a passage in Luke 14 called “At the End of The Day, Do We Really Need God?: A Study Belief and Disbelief.” The year 2020 has thrown a lot of things up in the air, and many of us are probably wondering, or know people who are wondering, “Do we really need God?” Once you start unpacking that question, there’s a lot to consider! We’ll get together at 7:30 p.m. tonight at this Zoom link: Zoom link (the passcode is 360582).

Tomorrow night (Thursday), we’ll be back together again for the latest gathering of our “Facing Race Supper Club.” We’ll be together on Zoom (so supper is at home), but this timely gathering will allow us to reflect on issues of race during these difficult times. The start time is 7:00 p.m. at this Zoom link:

Yes, even with all that COVID is preventing us from doing, there are still many ways to exalt, experience, and extend Christ here at Evergreen! Be sure to read the Evergreen Church weekly e-news for a full rundown of all our opportunities.
May God bless us all.
Your Fellow Minister in Christ,

Mark
