Home groups are a vital part of Evergreen Church and of followers of Christ. God intends for us to live life together and home groups can help. Times, topics, and types of groups vary.
Support Group for Parents of Challenging Children
First Sunday each month following worship, Youth Room

This support group is for parents who have children with IEPs and/or behavioral and mental health challenges. The group offers encouragement, acceptance, and support. Teachers who work with special education students are also welcome. Discussion is confidential.
Monthly Men's Fellowship Group
Second Sunday each month following worship; the group meets initially in the Youth Room for a brief time of prayer, then moves to the activity location of the month.

Looking for friendship? Support? Fellow sports lovers? This group gathers for a brief time of prayer, then moves to a local restaurant or sporting event venue for food, fun, and more fellowship.
Faith Walkers
Every Monday at 8:15 a.m.

When we honor our bodies, we are honoring God and God's good creation. This group meets each week to walk for fitness and fellowship. Currently the walks last about 45 minutes. Locations change. Although Monday mornings are the current day and time, various members of the group are open to different days and times. Contact Kristin S. for coordination.
Monday Afternoon Prayer Group

Focusing on a wide range of passages from God's Word. Paying attention to an invitation to action that God may be speaking to you. Taking friendships to a deeper level. Developing our minds and imaginations for Godly purposes. If you are interested, any week is a fine week to start. Men's Lunchtime Bible Study Group

This is a group of men from various backgrounds who meet weekly to grow in their faith through bible study and open, honest discussion. The group is open to new members. If interested, request to be added to our weekly e-mail meeting reminder list.
Liturgical Yoga
Every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., Evergreen Church preschool room

This in a mixed-level class; beginners are welcome. Mats and props can be provided. The playlist is worship music. For high-school ages and older.
Financial Peace University
Offered periodically

Financial Peace University includes nine video lessons featuring Dave Ramsey, Rachel Cruze, and Chris Hogan. Follow along in your workbook as they teach you lessons on everything to how to build an emergency fund, how to become debt free, investing, and much more so you can get to the point of "living and giving like no one else."
Soul Food

Soul Food is an open discussion for men, women, and youth where the Bible is our authority, gracious openness is our guiding value, and God-centered fellowship is a genuine by-product. This is intended to be an open study, so come when you can.
Visual Faith
First and third Fridays each month at 11:00 a.m.

Together we explore many ways to creatively express our spirituality, such as Bible journaling (drawing, coloring, and writing in our Bibles), praying through color, and other practices that can help guide our hearts and minds in dedicated time with God and each other. All are welcome. No artistic skill is required.
Roots (for preteens in 4th and 5th grades)
Second and fourth Fridays each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Roots is all about helping preteens establish their relationship with God, to keep them strong and grounded through the teen years ahead. Activities include games, discussions, mission projects
Saturday Morning Women's Group
Every Saturday at 8:30 a.m., Wegman's Café, upper level (Leesburg)

All are welcome to this eclectic group of women who support each other, pray for each other, undertake various Bible studies together, undertake various mission projects, and nurture each other's spirits. Drop-ins are always welcome.
Men's and Women's Monthly Movie Nights

Each month men and women meet separately to enjoy food, fellowship, and fun and watch a Christian theme-based movie. The women's group meets on Saturday nights and begins at 6:00 p.m.; the men's group meets on Monday nights and begins at 6:30.
