About the event
On Tuesday, May 5th, we are joining Crossroads UMC for a screening of Our Turn to Talk, a documentary in which young people speak honestly about the pressures they face and what they wish adults understood about their mental health. This is an evening for families — we ask that youth plan to attend together with their parents.
The night begins with a taco truck in the parking lot from 5–7pm, a chance to gather, eat, and connect before the film. The screening runs from 7–8pm, followed by an expert mental health panel and audience Q&A. Teens will also have the option to join a separate breakout discussion led by a teen counselor and student ministry leader, while mental health resources will be available for all families. The first 100 ticket holders will also receive a free gift.
Tickets are free but seating is limited, so we encourage you to…
